about accompany
The concept of Accompany was created toward the end of the pandemic. During the years of COVID-19, we experienced social distancing that extended far beyond the lack of physical interactions. The US took an emotional toll as the country became more divisive than ever. Its people, for a brief period, lost their privileges to shake hands, make eye contact, or enjoy team camaraderie like they used to. Because of that sudden shift in behavior, a great migration from on-site to virtual space happened. Golf can be experienced in front of a simulation screen, racing can be operated in a mechanical frame surrounded by 4K monitors, and we see a lot of other physical sports being replaced by video games that offer a high degree of realism.
However, nothing can replace the real-life experience of teamwork with interesting company, the smell of summer grass, the color of autumn leaves, or a hard fall into the snow that paves the way to a 360-degree flip on your snowboard. That’s why we created Accompany.
